Several people are feared trapped beneath rubble after a multi-storey building under construction collapsed in Eastleigh, Nairobi, on Friday afternoon.
Kenya Red Cross teams and other emergency responders have been deployed to the scene along 9th Street near Yusuf Haji Avenue to search for survivors.
The collapse disrupted businesses and caused major traffic congestion in the busy commercial district, according to local media outlet Citizen Digital.
