Stray Kids member Felix (Lee Yongbok) will release his new song “Slow It Down”, becoming the second member of the K-pop group to take part in its self-produced SKZ-PLAYER project.
The digital single and its accompanying music video were released at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, with Felix contributing to both the lyrics and composition of the track.
Felix follows fellow Stray Kids member Han, who became the first member to release a new solo song under the 2026 edition of SKZ-PLAYER.

Han released “back to life” in June after first unveiling its music video in May. The self-written and self-composed track centres on the resolve to maintain one’s identity and keep moving forward despite difficulties.
Unlike a conventional group release, SKZ-PLAYER gives the eight members an opportunity to present individual creative work, with members participating directly in areas including songwriting, music production, music video planning and direction.
Felix’s “Slow It Down” is an acoustic hip-hop track built around a simple guitar loop and hip-hop beat. The song encourages listeners to slow down amid the pace of everyday life and reflect on meaningful moments, relationships and shared dreams.
Felix’s involvement in writing and composing the song adds a personal element to the release, as the project is designed to highlight the individual musical identities of the group’s members.

The music video stars actor Roh Yoon-seo and explores the struggles of young people caught between their ambitions and reality, providing a visual extension of the song’s message.
The project is expected to continue with the remaining members of the eight-member group releasing their own work sequentially.
Stray Kids, which debuted in 2018, has established itself as one of the leading K-pop groups internationally, with songs including “God’s Menu”, “Thunderous”, “MANIAC” and “Walkin on Water” among its notable releases.
The group recently performed two shows at Japan’s National Stadium in Tokyo, becoming the first foreign male act to hold a solo concert at the venue.
Stray Kids is also scheduled to perform at Brazil’s Rock in Rio festival in September and launch its own STRAYCITY festival in Colombia, Argentina and Mexico.
