Ghanaian musician King Promise is set to perform at the Tarkwa and Aboso (TnA) Stadium on Sunday, September 6, as Medeama SC begin their CAF Champions League campaign against Congolese giants TP Mazembe.
The musician has been lined up to entertain supporters during the first leg of the preliminary-round tie, adding a musical attraction to a crucial continental fixture for the Ghana Premier League champions.

Medeama will be hoping to use home advantage to secure a positive result before travelling to Lubumbashi, DR Congo, for the return leg on September 12.
The two clubs are contesting a place in the next round of the competition.
The match comes shortly after Medeama lifted the 2026 Champion of Champions trophy, beating Nations FC 2-0 at the TnA Stadium on August 30.
Goals from Fatawu Sulemana and Emmanuel Annor gave the Ghana Premier League champions an early boost ahead of their continental campaign. Head coach Ibrahim Tanko has said his team is fully prepared for the challenge posed by TP Mazembe.
“We are 100% ready for TP Mazembe,” Tanko said after the Champion of Champions victory.

The fixture will also mark a significant moment for Medeama, with the club hosting a CAF Champions League preliminary-round match in Tarkwa after the TnA Stadium received Category 2 approval from CAF to host preliminary-round fixtures.
The approval allows Medeama to stage continental matches at its home venue, bringing CAF club competition to Tarkwa for the first time. Medeama have priced tickets for Sunday’s match at GH¢100 for the Yellow Stand, White/Blue Stand and Pitch, while the Gold Stand costs GH¢150. Tickets for the VIP/Red Stand are priced at GH¢500.
The club will be aiming for a strong home performance against TP Mazembe, one of Africa’s most decorated clubs, before the decisive second leg in Lubumbashi.
The winner of the two-legged tie will face either Club Africain of Tunisia or Djoliba AC of Mali in the second preliminary round.
