Ghanaian musician Barosky has been repatriated from the United Kingdom and is safely back in Ghana, following weeks of concern over his welfare in Manchester.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry says it fully sponsored his return as part of its consular mandate and is now providing him with psychosocial support and financial assistance to help with his reintegration.

Barosky, known for his collaborations with artistes including Ofori Amponsah and Kofi Nti, attracted widespread concern after a video of him speaking to broadcaster Nana Romeo showed him living in difficult conditions in Manchester.
He said he had been sleeping on the streets, struggling to access food and basic amenities, and had appealed for help to return home.
The situation prompted the Ghana High Commission in the UK to intervene, with High Commissioner Sabah Zita Benson travelling to Manchester to meet Barosky and assess how best to support him.
The Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has commended the High Commission for its coordination and thanked Ghanaians, particularly Nana Romeo, for bringing Barosky’s plight to the attention of the authorities.
The Ministry says the support does not end with his return, with psychosocial assistance and financial support being provided as he begins his reintegration in Ghana.
