The Ghana Education Service (GES) has established a dedicated help desk to resolve outstanding salary arrears and related concerns raised by teachers recruited in 2024.

The move follows a petition from the Coalition of Unpaid Teachers, representing some teachers recruited during the 2024 recruitment exercise, over alleged outstanding salaries and arrears.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the GES said its records show that the salaries and arrears due to teachers within the affected group have been processed.

However, Management acknowledged that some individual cases may still require further verification and resolution.

The Service has therefore directed teachers with unresolved concerns to report to the Help Desk at Room 305 of the GES Headquarters with relevant supporting documents to enable officials to verify and address their cases.

Teachers who are unable to travel to the GES Headquarters have also been given the option of contacting the Help Desk remotely.

They can call 0201360786 or 0201360789 for assistance and guidance on submitting their details.

The GES said the dedicated support mechanism was established to facilitate the prompt resolution of outstanding cases while ensuring that legitimate concerns are properly verified.

Management further assured affected teachers of its commitment to addressing all legitimate concerns and safeguarding their welfare.
