The Bekwai Circuit Court has sentenced three persons to between 20 and 22 years in prison with hard labour for robbery.
The convicts were found guilty of robbing a victim at Dadease in the Ashanti Region, according to Citi Newsroom.
The court imposed a 22-year sentence on two of the convicts, while the third was sentenced to 20 years.
The convictions followed proceedings before the Bekwai Circuit Court, which found the three guilty of the robbery offence.
The latest sentences come as security agencies continue efforts to tackle robbery and other violent crimes in the Ashanti Region.
