Social media personalities Andrew and Tristan Tate are facing a combined 59 criminal charges in the United Kingdom, including rape, sex trafficking and offences relating to indecent images of a child.
The charges stem from allegations relating to incidents said to have occurred between 2010 and 2017, with British prosecutors adding 38 new charges to 21 existing charges in July 2026.
Andrew Tate, 39, faces 42 charges, including seven counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and 19 charges relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.
His brother Tristan, 38, faces 17 charges, including two counts of rape, one count of sexual assault and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation.
The UK Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said the additional charges followed the receipt of further evidence from Bedfordshire Police and brought the total number of alleged victims in the case to seven.
The brothers deny any wrongdoing and have said they intend to fight efforts to extradite them to the UK.
Both men were arrested by US authorities in Miami in July 2026 after British authorities requested their extradition. They remain in US custody while the extradition proceedings continue.
A US magistrate judge in Miami ruled on September 9 that the brothers should remain in custody after rejecting their request for release on bail. The judge cited concerns over their potential flight risk while they contest extradition.
