Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has performed at the National Football League (NFL) London Game halftime show, taking Afrobeats to an international sporting audience during the Philadelphia Eagles’ clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The performance took place on Sunday, October 11, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, as part of the NFL’s expanded international entertainment programme for the 2026 season.

Ayra Starr opened her set with Heaven Baby before performing songs including Santa, Hot Body, Rush and Dangerous, drawing from her growing catalogue of Afrobeats and pop music.

Her appearance formed part of the NFL’s plan to feature live musical performances across seven international games during the 2026 season, spanning seven countries and four continents.

The performance adds to the singer’s growing international profile as African music continues to gain visibility on major global entertainment platforms.

Ayra Starr, whose real name is Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, has established herself as one of the prominent voices in contemporary Afrobeats, with international recognition through her recordings and live performances.

The NFL has increasingly incorporated music and entertainment into its international fixtures as part of efforts to broaden the league’s global appeal.

The London game between the Eagles and the Jaguars was one of the league’s international fixtures for the 2026 season, with the halftime performance providing an additional platform for African music to reach sports audiences outside the continent.
