BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has kicked off the rollout of her debut solo studio album with the release of “CLICK”, recording more than 1.8 million views on YouTube within four hours of its release.
The single and its official music video were released on Friday, September 4, with “CLICK” serving as the first pre-release track from Jisoo’s forthcoming full-length solo album.
The track is a dance-pop song built around synths, bass and a rhythmic production, with Jisoo using the idea of two people who naturally “click” despite knowing they should not be drawn to each other.

The accompanying music video was directed by Korean-American filmmaker Joseph Kahn, known for working with international stars including Taylor Swift, Eminem and Lady Gaga.
In the video, Jisoo plays the last sentient cyborg in an abandoned amusement park. Her character discovers a damaged robotic teddy bear and brings it back to life, setting off a transformation that restores movement and connection to the forgotten park.

The teddy bear also carries a symbolic meaning for Jisoo, representing her fans from different countries and backgrounds and the connection they share with her through music.
“CLICK” marks Jisoo’s first solo release since “EYES CLOSED”, her 2025 collaboration with Zayn Malik. It also follows her four-track 2025 EP “AMORTAGE”, which featured songs including “earthquake” and “Your Love”.

Jisoo first launched her solo career in 2023 with the single album “ME”, led by the hit “FLOWER”. She is now preparing to release her first full-length solo album, with additional singles expected to follow “CLICK”.
The release comes on the same day as fellow BLACKPINK member Lisa, who also launched a new solo track, “SaWaDiKa”, earlier on Friday. Lisa’s release serves as a pre-release from her upcoming EP Press Play, due in October.
With “CLICK”, Jisoo has begun another solo era while BLACKPINK continues activities following its 10th anniversary celebrations.
